By debit card: 35p is for card processing and anti-fraud charges.
34p goes towards running the website, paying artists, processing donations and fulfilling our guarantee.

Good Gift / Monetary donations
Over 100% of the gift donation goes to the charity in full if you have ticked the Gift Aid declaration box. CharityGreetings.com will reclaim Gift Aid on behalf of the charity, subject to the Charity providing a completed ChN 2 form, which increases your original donation by 28%.
Charity Greetings’ fee is 10% plus VAT of this new total in addition to the applicable payment transaction charge.
Here’s an example
If you buy a Good Gift for £10, Gift Aid will add £2.82 = £12.82
Charity Greetings fee 10% (+ VAT) = £1.28 (+ 22p VAT)
By credit card: Payment gateway and anti-fraud charges 3.75% = 38p
Balance remaining for Charity = £10.94
By debit card: There is no payment gateway and anti-fraud charge as this fee is included in the cost of the digital greeting card
Balance remaining for Charity = £11.32
By PayPal: Payment gateway and anti fraud-charges 2.9% = 29p
There is no additional 20p fee as this is included in the cost of the digital greeting card
Balance remaining for Charity = £11.03
If you don’t make a Gift Aid declaration, then a fee of 5% plus VAT and the payment transaction charge (as mentioned above) is deducted from the gift donation with the balance going to the Charity.
